If this is your choice, see if you can pick a time that is more off season because you will stand a better chance of getting a good deal.

Obviously, if you are on a tight budget, and who isn't these days, you would be wise to find something that offerred, at the minimum, a microwave so you could heat some prepared frozen meals. The benefit of a small kitchen is obvious when you have a small family to provide for and you can even prepare lunches or snacks to take along each day you adventure out to save more money.
My sister-in-law found a good way to cut down on expenses for a weeks visit to Disneyland and that was to scour the Internet for rentals by the week. In her case, she found that you could rebt a time share that wasn't being used for a more than reasonable cost thus providing inexpensive lodging, the option to cook meals in a fully equipped kitchen, and the ability to have a relaxing day if they chose away from the hustle and bustle.

For the really budget minded, you could also try local camping possibilities, or if you have a travel trailer, or pop up tent, you can try a local RV spot. Some of these RV spots have short-term camping or tenting options that may be just what you need. The only draw back is the possibility that you will have to drive a bit further to get to the attractions you want. However, you also have the option of taking in other types of entertainment that you would not have the option to explore if you stayed on site, or, if you did want to explore further afield, you would have to rent a car adding to your expense.
